So I started with the basic circle, considering I'm going to need to add two smaller circles onto this one later I needed to get this one right. I started with a row of 14 red stained clay blocks. To get the circular pattern I dropped down a row and added two blocks on the left and right. Twice. I then added singular blocks for 5 rows. Then I added two blocks in two rows, twice to get the edge for the column of 14 at the side.
Basically:
Step 1: Starting from the top create a row of 14 blocks.
Step 2: Drop down a row and over a column, add two blocks parallel to the 14.
Step 3: Drop down another row and over another column, add two more parallel blocks.
Step 4: Drop down a row and over a column, add 1 block. Repeat step (x5). I have seen this done with only 3 but I feel it is more oval then circular.
Step 5: Drop down a row and over a column. Add 1 block. Go down a row. Add second block. You will now have two blocks in a line perpendicular to the first row of 14. Repeat Once.
Step 6: Drop down a row and over a column. Make a column of 14.
Step 7: Repeat Pattern on other side and bottom to complete base.
So that's how I created the base of the main tower. I'm sure there are other ways to do this.Probably much fancier ways but this seemed simplest. I've seen someone use red wool before, I don't really understand why but hey it was red and it worked, just seemed a bit weird.
Okay so that's the base. I'll get to actually creating the walls next. All of this will be under the page Hokage's Tower.
